Arsen Liametov is сo-Founder of Skyro, a fast-growing global fintech group offering digital-first financial services to drive inclusion in underserved markets.
Under the leadership of Arsen Liametov, Skyro scaled from launch to gaining a significant market position within several years, reaching over 1 million customers across Southeast Asia and achieving operational profitability. He is currently leading the group’s international expansion as Skyro actively grows its presence across the GCC, with further expansion planned into Africa and additional Southeast Asian markets.
With over 15 years of leadership experience, Arsen Liametov has operated at the intersection of risk, product and growth, shaping how technology can expand access to finance in emerging markets. His work combines corporate strategy, AI-driven transformation and regulatory adaptation, enabling rapid market entry and sustainable growth.
Before co-founding Skyro, Arsen Liametov held senior management roles at Renaissance Credit and LSE‑listed Tinkoff, a bank with a wide pool of international investors, where he developed early digital lending and payments infrastructure and oversaw risk strategy. This stage became an important part of his professional experience: Arsen Liametov worked with products that required a combination of technological sophistication, high-speed decision-making, and strict credit portfolio risk control. The expertise he gained in risk management, payment solutions, and digital financial services later became the foundation for developing Skyro as a scalable fintech platform.
At Tinkoff, he played a central role in creating the first Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) service on the domestic market, contributing to the emergence of an entirely new consumer finance category. His work helped to transform installment-based payments into a mainstream financial tool – making them more accessible and user-friendly – while also supporting the rapid growth of the bank’s lending and transaction businesses. This period established his reputation as a builder of new financial segments, rather than a follower of existing models.
Arsen Liametov holds a degree in economics from the Higher School of Economics in Russia and is a graduate of the Executive Education program at INSEAD. This educational background complements his practical fintech experience and helps him combine a strategic vision for business development with a strong understanding of financial markets, capital management, and international leadership approaches.
