Luxury smartphone maker Caviar has begun accepting orders for heavily customised versions of Apple’s yet-to-be-announced iPhone 18 Pro models, as well as a design based on the company’s widely rumoured foldable iPhone.
Caviar’s new Royal Colors collection includes customised versions of the expected iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max. The range features designs called Emperor, King, Black Prince and Pharaoh, with materials including titanium, crocodile or python leather and double 24-karat gold plating.
The company says production of each Royal Colors design will be limited to 18 units. Prices begin at about $10,060, or roughly Dh36,945, for the Black Prince and Pharaoh versions. The Consul model is listed at around $10,840, equivalent to approximately Dh39,810.
Caviar is also promoting a collection for what it calls the iPhone Ultra, its name for Apple’s expected first foldable smartphone. Customers can choose from Titanium, Dark Cherry, Karat, Magenta, Silver, Gold and a Jobs edition.
Prices for the foldable designs range from about $13,840, or Dh50,827, to $15,990, or approximately Dh58,723.
Caviar says it has received physical mock-ups of the upcoming devices and is using them to prepare custom materials and decorative components. However, several specifications listed on the company’s website remain based on leaks and rumours rather than information confirmed by Apple.
The company’s claims for the foldable model include a 7.8-inch internal display, a 5.3-inch external screen, titanium construction, two 48-megapixel rear cameras and a 5,800mAh battery. Caviar also lists an A20 Pro chip manufactured using a 3-nanometre process.
That processor claim differs from reports suggesting Apple’s next-generation A20 chips could be produced using Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company’s 2nm technology.
Other reports have pointed to a September launch for the iPhone 18 Pro range and Apple’s anticipated foldable model. Rumoured features include a smaller Dynamic Island, variable-aperture camera technology and the new A20 processor.
Caviar has gone a step further by claiming that Apple will unveil the iPhone 18 Pro on September 9. Apple had not confirmed such an event as of August 9, with its official events listings still showing earlier presentations.
The luxury maker’s listings therefore offer an unusual glimpse at products that Apple has yet to formally introduce. While the gold, leather and premium prices attached to the customised devices are already being marketed, the specifications of the Apple hardware beneath them remain officially unconfirmed.
