Hot Daytime Conditions with Mild Nights Expected on Sunday, Meteorology Department Reports

The Department of Meteorology has forecasted hot daytime weather inshore on Sunday, with occasional cloud cover and mild conditions by night. According to the daily weather report, the offshore areas will also experience some clouds, though strong winds and high seas are expected initially.

Inshore, the wind is predicted to blow from the northwest to northeast at speeds between 5 to 15 knots, with gusts reaching up to 20 knots during the day in certain areas. Offshore, northwesterly winds will be stronger, ranging from 8 to 18 knots, with gusts of up to 22 knots expected at the start of the day.

Sea conditions are expected to be relatively calm inshore, with waves reaching between 1 to 3 feet, though they may rise to 4 feet early on. Offshore, the sea will be slightly rougher, with wave heights between 3 to 5 feet initially.

Visibility is forecast to remain clear, with a range of 5 to 10 kilometers both inshore and offshore throughout the day.

The weather report serves as a reminder to residents and those at sea to be cautious due to the potential for strong winds and rough seas, particularly in offshore areas early in the day.
