Nemetschek Arabia, a subsidiary of the global software provider Nemetschek Group, is strengthening its presence in Qatar’s construction sector through its participation in Project Qatar 2026 as the event’s Architecture, Engineering, Construction and Operations (AEC/O) Technology Sponsor.
The exhibition, taking place from June 9 to 11 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center, has brought together international industry leaders, technology companies and policymakers under the theme “Innovation & Sustainability: Qatar’s Path to 2030.” The event highlights the role of technology and sustainable practices in supporting the country’s long-term development goals.
At the exhibition, Nemetschek Arabia is presenting its “Connected Construction” vision in partnership with Medialogic. The company is demonstrating how integrated digital technologies can improve collaboration, efficiency and decision-making across the construction lifecycle, from project planning and design to operations and maintenance.
The company’s showcase includes solutions such as Building Information Modeling (BIM), digital twins, artificial intelligence-powered workflows and smart asset management systems. These technologies are designed to help developers, architects, engineers, contractors and operators streamline project delivery while supporting sustainability objectives.
Qatar’s construction industry continues to expand as the country advances infrastructure and development projects linked to Qatar National Vision 2030. Industry forecasts indicate that the sector could exceed $106 billion in value by the end of the decade, supported by investments in transportation, renewable energy, healthcare, education and hospitality projects.
The country’s 2026 budget allocated approximately $17.3 billion for major infrastructure and capital projects, underscoring the government’s commitment to economic diversification and urban development.
Speaking during the event, Nemetschek Arabia Managing Director Eng. Muayad Simbawa said the increasing scale and complexity of projects in Qatar require stronger digital collaboration among stakeholders.
He noted that connected digital ecosystems can help organizations overcome operational silos, improve information sharing and increase efficiency throughout the building lifecycle. Simbawa added that the company aims to support organizations as they pursue digital transformation and sustainable development goals aligned with Qatar National Vision 2030.
The participation also reflects wider regional trends, with governments and developers across the Gulf Cooperation Council increasingly prioritizing smart cities, digitalization and environmentally sustainable infrastructure.
Nemetschek Arabia said it remains focused on providing open and connected technology platforms that support resilient and future-ready infrastructure. The company views Project Qatar 2026 as an opportunity to strengthen partnerships with public and private sector organizations while promoting innovation in the built environment.
With its growing footprint across the Middle East, the company continues to position itself as a technology partner for organizations seeking to modernize construction practices and improve project outcomes through digital solutions.
