EaseMyTrip Launches ReSave Tool to Return Eligible Flight Fare Savings

Online travel-tech platform EaseMyTrip has introduced ReSave, a zero-cost flight add-on that monitors eligible bookings for fare reductions after a ticket has been purchased and returns the full applicable savings to customers.

The company said the new service is designed to extend its technology offering beyond the initial booking. ReSave tracks eligible flight itineraries and identifies qualifying price reductions under the terms of the plan, allowing travellers to benefit when the same flight becomes cheaper after their booking.

Airfares can change regularly, sometimes falling after a passenger has already confirmed a ticket. Travellers traditionally have to monitor prices themselves to identify a lower fare, which can be time-consuming and may result in missed savings.

EaseMyTrip said ReSave is built directly into the customer booking journey and automatically monitors eligible itineraries after purchase.

The service is being offered as a free add-on. The company said 100 percent of the final eligible savings identified through the ReSave process will be returned to customers, with no additional charges, subject to the applicable terms and conditions.

Rikant Pittie, CEO and co-founder of EaseMyTrip, said travel technology is increasingly moving beyond helping customers find flights and complete bookings.

He said technology can now play a role throughout the travel journey, including after a reservation has been made. ReSave, he said, is intended to extend the company’s pricing proposition beyond the point of purchase and allow customers to benefit when eligible fares fall.

Pittie said the service represents a broader shift in the travel industry from transaction-focused technology to platforms that continue providing value after a customer has completed a purchase.

EaseMyTrip said its goal is to improve pricing transparency, give customers greater confidence when booking and provide additional value throughout their travel experience.

The travel platform is also expanding its Agentic AI capabilities as it works to make its services more personalised and proactive. The company said the technology is being developed to anticipate customer needs and support travellers at different stages of their journeys.

The ReSave launch comes as online travel companies increasingly compete by offering services beyond basic flight and hotel bookings. Price changes after a reservation can create uncertainty for travellers who discover that the same itinerary is available at a lower cost shortly after they have paid.

By monitoring eligible bookings automatically, EaseMyTrip aims to remove the need for customers to repeatedly check fares themselves.

The company said ReSave forms part of its wider technology strategy to create value throughout the travel lifecycle while strengthening its focus on customer savings, price transparency and digital engagement.

The actual savings available to each traveller will depend on whether the booked itinerary qualifies and whether a fare reduction meets the conditions of the ReSave service.
