UAE Launches Digital System to Streamline Banking Services for Federal Employees

A new initiative in the UAE will eliminate the need for federal employees to provide salary certificates when accessing banking services, thanks to a direct digital integration model. The partnership, announced on Sunday by the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) and Emirates NBD, is set to benefit over 45,000 federal employees across more than 50 government entities.

The groundbreaking system enables the “seamless extraction” of salary information through digital channels, removing the manual process of obtaining and submitting salary certificates. This innovative approach aims to simplify banking processes and improve service efficiency for federal employees.

“This partnership reflects our commitment to harnessing technology for government services and enhancing the customer experience,” said a representative from FAHR. The integration not only streamlines processes but also reduces administrative burdens, aligning with the UAE’s broader digital transformation goals.

While Emirates NBD is the first bank to adopt the system, plans are underway to expand the program to include additional national banks and service providers, broadening its reach and impact. The new system is expected to significantly reduce processing times for financial transactions, such as loan applications and account openings.
