A recent judicial auction in Ras Al Khaimah raised Dh21.95 million as five out of six disputed real estate properties were successfully sold under the supervision of the Unified Auctions Committee.
Held at the main headquarters of Ras Al Khaimah Courts, the auction aimed to ensure fair property transactions while maximizing returns for rightful owners and creditors. “The primary objective of these judicial auctions is to maximise the value of properties for rightful owners and creditors while ensuring that buyers can acquire assets through an open and transparent process,” said Ahmed Mohammed Al Khateri, chief justice of RAK Courts.
The auctioned properties included a mix of residential and commercial buildings, apartments, agricultural land, and industrial sites, spread across different areas of the emirate. Strong interest from investors and real estate buyers was evident, with several bidders participating in the sale.
To expand accessibility, RAK Courts introduced remote bidding through specialized platforms, allowing investors worldwide to place bids in real time. The court also undertook extensive marketing efforts, promoting the properties through social media and its official website to provide potential buyers with detailed information ahead of the auction.
“With this successful auction, RAK Courts reaffirm their dedication to facilitating fair real estate transactions and protecting the rights of all parties involved,” Al Khateri added.
The success of the auction highlights growing investor confidence in Ras Al Khaimah’s real estate sector, with judicial sales offering a transparent and structured avenue for property acquisition.
