UAE-based low-cost carrier Air Arabia has announced the resumption of its non-stop flights between Ras Al Khaimah and Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The service, set to begin on December 15, will operate three times a week, offering passengers greater convenience and flexibility for travel between the two cities.
Flights will be available on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, enhancing accessibility for travelers to and from Jeddah, one of Saudi Arabia’s key destinations. The move reflects Air Arabia’s commitment to expanding its operations from Ras Al Khaimah and supporting the emirate’s growing tourism and trade sectors.
Adel Al Ali, Group Chief Executive Officer of Air Arabia, expressed enthusiasm for the resumption of the route. “We are pleased to resume our non-stop flights from Ras Al Khaimah to Jeddah, a key destination in Saudi Arabia. The three weekly flights to Jeddah reinforce Air Arabia’s commitment to expanding its operations from Ras Al Khaimah and supporting the emirate’s tourism and trade. We look forward to the first flight as we continue to offer our customers value-driven and convenient travel options,” Al Ali said.
Air Arabia’s network from Ras Al Khaimah has continued to grow, offering passengers direct connections to a range of major cities. In addition to Jeddah, the airline operates flights to Cairo, Islamabad, Lahore, Peshawar, and Calicut. Most recently, the airline announced a new route to Moscow, further strengthening its global reach.
The resumption of the Ras Al Khaimah-Jeddah service is seen as a significant boost for both the emirate and the wider UAE aviation sector, with Air Arabia continuing to position itself as a major player in the regional travel industry. The airline’s competitive pricing and commitment to expanding its network are expected to appeal to both leisure and business travelers alike.
Air Arabia has been a key driver of Ras Al Khaimah’s growing reputation as a travel hub, with its expanding flight network playing a crucial role in connecting the emirate to major international markets. The return of the Jeddah route comes as part of ongoing efforts to promote tourism and trade ties between the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
With the first flight scheduled for mid-December, passengers can look forward to convenient travel options and enhanced connectivity between the two cities just in time for the busy holiday season.
