Wynn Resorts announced that construction of its integrated gaming resort on Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah is 55% complete, marking significant progress on the landmark project.
The resort’s main tower has reached the 26th floor, with structural walls extending to the 29th floor. Construction teams are advancing at a pace of one floor per week, with plans to top off the structure by December 2025. Over the last 100 days, the tower has grown by 44 meters, underscoring the rapid development of the ambitious project.
Wynn Design and Development (WDD), comprising more than 90 architects, designers, and creative professionals, is spearheading the resort’s design and development. On-site, over 9,100 construction workers and more than 100 concrete trucks are contributing to the project’s progress daily.
Once completed, Wynn Al Marjan Island will feature 1,542 rooms and suites, with 73% of the tower structure for guest rooms already finished. Fit-out work is underway in approximately 820 rooms, including the installation of walls, floors, ceilings, and essential mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Additionally, the installation of elevators and escalators commenced this month.
Strategically located just 50 minutes from Dubai International Airport, the resort is expected to redefine luxury in the region when it opens in the first quarter of 2027.
A New Era of Luxury in the MENA Region
Wynn Al Marjan Island promises an unparalleled experience with 22 restaurants, lounges, and bars, ranging from high-energy venues to fine dining establishments. Guests can enjoy a nightclub featuring world-renowned DJs from the “Only At Wynn” lineup, a private beach club, and a sprawling 3.6-hectare poolscape with multiple swimming pools, cabanas, and tropical landscaping.
The resort will also include a 15,000-square-meter shopping promenade featuring luxury boutiques, a five-star spa, and a salon. For business and entertainment, a 7,500-square-meter meetings and events center and a theater will host bespoke events and world-class performances.
Wynn Resorts is developing the property in collaboration with Marjan and RAK Hospitality Holding. Notably, the project will be the first integrated gaming resort in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, offering a unique blend of entertainment, luxury, and gaming experiences.
The milestone reinforces Wynn Resorts’ vision of establishing a premier destination in the Arabian Gulf, with expectations that the property will significantly boost regional tourism and set a new standard for hospitality in the area.
