Saudi Arabia’s flagship carrier Saudia has launched an exclusive promotion offering passengers discounts of up to 50% on international routes, including both round-trip and transit flights.
The limited-time offer, which covers both Business Class and Guest Class fares, is available for bookings made between August 17 and August 31. Eligible travel dates run from September 1 through December 10, giving customers more than three months to take advantage of the reduced prices.
Reservations under the promotion can be completed through Saudia’s official website, mobile application, and sales offices. The airline said the campaign is aimed at encouraging both leisure and business travelers to explore its expanding international network while providing competitive value.
As part of the offer, passengers booking transit flights will also benefit from Saudi Arabia’s digital Stopover Visa program. Automatically linked to the traveler’s flight ticket, the visa allows visitors to stay in the Kingdom for up to 96 hours. During this period, travelers can perform Umrah in Makkah, visit historical sites, or explore major cities as the country continues to position itself as both a global hub for aviation and a destination for tourism.
“Through this campaign, we aim to offer our guests greater flexibility and value while also showcasing Saudi Arabia as a stopover and travel destination,” Saudia said in a statement.
The promotion underscores the airline’s role in supporting the Kingdom’s broader tourism and economic diversification goals under Vision 2030. Saudi Arabia has been seeking to attract millions of international visitors each year, with aviation playing a central role in facilitating access to the country’s cultural and religious landmarks.
Currently, Saudia operates flights to more than 100 destinations across four continents. Its expanding fleet of 149 aircraft is part of a broader network growth strategy designed to strengthen connectivity and position the Kingdom as a major global transit hub.
Industry analysts say the airline’s latest move is likely to appeal to both religious pilgrims and casual travelers. The integration of the Stopover Visa, in particular, is viewed as a significant incentive, offering passengers the opportunity to combine their international travel with short stays in Saudi Arabia.
With competitive pricing, growing global reach, and seamless access to the Kingdom, Saudia is positioning itself not only as a carrier of choice for regional travelers but also as a gateway for international passengers seeking both affordability and convenience.
