Ras Al Khaimah-based BNW Developments, one of the UAE’s leading private real estate developers, has announced a proposed Dh1 billion construction partnership with China Railway No. 4 Engineering Group Co. Ltd. (CREC4), a subsidiary of the Fortune 500 company China Railway Group Limited. The collaboration is aimed at accelerating BNW’s upcoming developments while maintaining international construction standards.
The partnership marks a continuation of BNW’s focus on execution-driven growth, following its earlier collaboration with MAN Construction and the rapid mobilisation of on-ground teams across its development portfolio. With foundational work such as piling, shoring, and enabling activities nearing completion on previous projects, the proposed engagement with CREC4 is expected to help BNW scale future projects using global engineering expertise and disciplined project delivery.
Ankur Aggarwal, chairman and founder of BNW Developments, highlighted the importance of the collaboration. “BNW is in an execution-focused phase, prioritising on-time delivery to international benchmarks. Every contractor is selected through careful evaluation, as execution ultimately defines legacy. China Railway Group Limited brings extensive engineering capabilities, governance systems, and a strong international track record, including experience in the UAE. This partnership supports our next phase of growth with speed, quality, and credibility,” he said.
Dr Vivek Anand Oberoi, managing director and co-founder of BNW Developments, added that quality remains central to the company’s approach. “We work with globally recognised contractors whose records show engineering integrity, disciplined delivery, and adherence to international standards. CREC4’s capabilities align with our vision of delivering design-led, enduring projects. This partnership is built on shared values, high standards, and a commitment to excellence in both design and construction.”
Gang Li, general manager of CREC4 Middle East & Eastern Europe, said the partnership will allow the company to apply global project management expertise and advanced construction methods to BNW’s luxury developments. “We are committed to supporting BNW’s vision by ensuring efficient implementation, rigorous quality control, and adherence to international standards. Our goal is to deliver projects that meet the expectations of both investors and end-users,” Li said.
BNW Developments manages a pipeline valued at over Dh32 billion in Gross Development Value, with a portfolio of architecturally complex projects across the UAE. Current developments include Aqua Arc, Taj Wellington Mews, Pelagia, FashionTV Acacia, Aquino, and Tonino Lamborghini Residences Ras Al Khaimah. Additional global construction partnerships are under consideration to support the company’s long-term growth strategy.
The signing ceremony was attended by BNW’s leadership team, including Aggarwal and Oberoi, alongside senior representatives from CREC4, including Gang Li, Wenyi Wei, Qing Yuan, and Ruikai Gan.
