🌟 Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Saudi Minister of Energy, announced the discovery of two natural gas fields in the Empty Quarter, achieved by Saudi Aramco. The discovered fields are Al-Hairan and Al-Muhakik, along with five reservoirs in previously discovered fields.
🔅 The significance of these discoveries lies in their contribution to increasing natural gas production, which is an important step towards enhancing energy security in the Kingdom and reducing reliance on imported energy sources. They also open the door to new economic growth opportunities, through job creation and investment stimulation in the sector.
🔅 The Kingdom anticipates increasing its natural gas production to 120 billion cubic feet per day by 2030, and these discoveries will play a pivotal role in achieving this goal. They also represent an important step towards realizing Saudi Vision 2030 and its mega projects, reflecting the Kingdom’s immense wealth and its ability to achieve its economic and developmental goals.
