Hilton’s Ambitious Expansion in Saudi Arabia: A Sign of the Attractive Saudi Market in the Hospitality Sector
Hilton’s Vice President has highlighted an ambitious expansion plan in Saudi Arabia, involving the opening of over 60 hotels in a period ranging from 3 to 5 years.
🔘 Currently, Hilton manages around 24 hotels in the Kingdom, with this number expected to increase to about 85 by the end of 2028.
🔘 Saudi Arabia is considered one of the most important growth markets for the Hilton Group. In August last year, the group signed several agreements to establish new hotels in the Kingdom, including:
✔️ A hotel under the Conrad Hotels & Resorts brand in the Wadi Al Lisin area of Riyadh,
✔️ Two hotels in Abha,
✔️ A Canopy by Hilton hotel in the Porta Jeddah project.
🔘 With these developments, Saudi Arabia has become the largest market for ongoing Hilton projects in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, and the fourth largest globally.
